Description

The Brokenwood Cricket Pitch Red is full of ripe black cherry on the nose with hints of wintergreen and a touch of oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely balanced, and very easy going. The flavour exudes blackberry and plum with a good helping of black pepper mixed in. The tannins fade away nicely.
