Description

Sourced from a single vineyard in the cool climate region of Kuitpo in the Adelaide Hills, this Chardonnay offers refined complexity and a rich mouthfeel. The grapes were whole bunch pressed and cold settled overnight before fermentation in new, 1, and 2-year-old French oak barrels at warm temperatures to enhance flinty, savoury notes. A small portion (5%) underwent malolactic fermentation for added depth. Matured in oak for 7 months with bi-weekly lees stirring, this wine is lightly fined, stabilized, filtered, and bottled under screw cap. Enjoy its textural and complex profile, perfect for pairing with fine dining.
