Description

The Penfolds Grange 2005 is 96% Shiraz, 4% Cabernet Sauvignon matured for 18 months in 100% new American oak hogsheads. The full-bodied wine has a gorgeous, complex bouquet of dark-berried Barrosa fruits. A lively palate filled with Satsuma plum with notes of liqueur chocolate and rhubarb and hints of oak. This wine is to be enjoyed now with bold flavoured meats such as a beef or oxtail dishes.
